If you are in this group you have a high dependence to nicotine. This group will not only include those mostly psychologically addicted to cigarettes but highly physically addicted to nicotine. People in this group probably have a tendency to depression and are easily addicted. There is a high risk of smoking related disorders.
Your chances of quitting success are low, but do not give up hope! While you are in a smaller group of people that are going to have a hard time giving up smoking, it is not impossible and has been done before. Remember, you will not die if you don’t get another cigarette. Combination therapy for you is a must. Nicotine replacement therapy is necessary and should be used for longer durations than recommended. You should talk to a doctor and consider antidepressants like Zyban. The doctor may also prescribe Chantix, although it has many side effects and is not necessary. There are also natural remedies that can be a big help in supplementing medicines. A smoking cessation group is a good idea for support and information.

Thank you for this info. I just got out of the hospital for a breathing problem. The doctor told me that I am wheezing bad and that my smoking habit is the cause. I really want to quit. Love the fact that you add natural ways to quit. I cant take stop smoking pills due to drug interaction. With your help I think I may be able to beat this thing.
Hi Shari. We would love to help you quit smoking. I’m sorry about the breathing problems. But, your lungs start to recover soon after quitting. The herbs in Quit Tea are supposed to help increase fluidity of the mucus in your lungs and speed up the clear out process. It is better not to take Chantix or Zyban if possible. Have you ordered a box of Quit Tea yet? Most people need 10 to 12 boxes, and if you stick with it, it will work to help you quit smoking.
I am in the process of trying to quit smoking. I just had precancerous cells removed from my cervix and my GYN said to either quit smoking NOW or get cancer in 10 or less and die. I have no choice…I have to QUIT! No matter how hard it might be I gotta do it. My doctor has put me on Wellbuturin and I am hoping it will help.
Hi Holly. I’m glad that you have resolved to quit smoking now, instead of later. Wellbuturin is an antidepressant that is similar to Zyban, which is approved for smoking cessation. Antidepressants have been shown to help people quit smoking, I hope it works for you! If you are having a hard time quitting you should consider using multiple smoking cessation aids, except for nicotine replacement therapies.
hope this helps
Hi Kathy. I hope Quit Tea helps you too. It has worked for many people, even those who have had a hard time quitting in the past. The best thing you can do it get as much information you can, make a plan, and find the products you would like to use to help you quit. Stick with it, it will work!
I have been smoking almost 40 years, and agree I have an addictive personality. I have to quite smoking for surgery, and am having a really tough time. I hope your tea helps.
Hi Beth. Sometime the impetus of surgery is enough to make you quit smoking for good. The drugs used for anesthesia will actually help you not crave cigarettes for about a week after, so that will make it easier. Just try to develop new habits before you go in. Stick with drinking Quit Tea 3 to 5 times a day, and get rid of everything smoking related in the house.
I really want to quit smoking. I have tried several time but to no avail . I hope this tea will help me. My doctor just put me on Prozac. I hope I can do this because I really hate smoking now , I just can’t stop.
lets hope your tea helps ive been through the patches, pills, therapy and lots of pnemonia not stopped will give this a try too
I don’t know really how this works. But, I sure hope it does. I have only smoked for 12 years but tried quitting twice. Once for 6 months, then for 8 1/2 months due to being pregnant. But, I still started back up. I really do want to quit. I have been taking 2 cigs a day out of each pack I open for a week. Then went to 4 the next week right now I take 6 cigs outta every pack opened so it cuts down on how many. It does work and help. I just need a little bit more help. Thanks you guy and gals hope all the best and good luck.
I have tries so hard to quit. My husband was just diagnosed woth COPD and tho I am not the cause and he does not smoke (or hasn’t in 25 years), I just don’t want to get any worse and go thru what I see him going thru. What natural methods do u suggest. I’ve tried everything else.
Hi Norma. It sounds like you are motivated. An antidepressant will help, but to make it last you really have to make some lifestyle changes. Thanks for considering Quit Tea. I hope it helps you too!
Most people have attempted to quit 5 times before trying Quit Tea. And typically it takes that many times to get it right. For someone with high nicotine dependence you really need to use a combination of products. I would try Quit Tea, with the patch, and either get a book or go to a group that will give you the information you need.
Hi Kristie. That is great if you are able to cut down a little before quitting. If you are highly dependent you probably need to taper off nicotine very slowly, there is no rush. Try the gum or the patch along with Quit Tea, but really use it even longer than recommended.
Hi Tara. I’m very sorry you have to go through COPD. It will be constant reminder and motivation. I think the natural methods that work are going to be behavioral modification therapy, so find a group or a good book like one by Daniel Seidman, Quit Tea (of course), and the text message support like from QuitJuice.com or Livestrong.com. There are also many herbs. I recommend taking extra St Johns Wort. And if you are highly addicted you should probably quit and use nicotine replacement for a little while and taper off. For highly and extremely addicted people it is best to taper off slowly.
HI. I have had 3 heart attacks and i still smoke. I know that i shouldn’t. I just seems like i can not get away from it. Is the tea safe for people with heart conditions? I really want to quit. Every time i try it seems like my brain can do nothing but figure out a way to go to the store to get a pack. And i tell my self i will only smoke a couple but by lunch time i have smoked the whole pack. I really hope this tea works!!!!
Quit Tea is effective and mild but if you are on prescription drugs for your heart condition you should talk to a doctor. Sometimes St Johns Wort can make other prescription drugs less effective. Thanks for the comment. I hope we can help you quit smoking.
